Our story began in 2011 at the dawn of modern electrification. Over more than fifteen years of hands-on power engineering, we evolved into New Energy Grid — creators of the GEMS Smart Energy Controller.
Pioneering Smart Charging & Real-Time Power Control
In 2011, when electric cars and smart solar inverters were still rare, our founders saw that clean energy and electric driving would push home and commercial Fuse boxes to their limits. Launching pioneering ventures across Europe, we built custom charging hardware, smart meter links, and real-time load balancing — laying the foundation for GEMS today.
Turning Disconnected Devices Into One Smart System
As solar panels, batteries, heat pumps, and fast EV chargers spread rapidly, separate manufacturer apps started fighting each other — causing tripped breakers, high capacity peaks, and wasted solar power during negative electricity prices. We designed GEMS to bring every device under one clear, intelligent controller.
